Today we are celebrating Canada’s 145th birthday – anxiously awaiting the special events, parties, and, of course, the fireworks that are sure to fill our skies. We celebrate our diverse culture and consider yet again what it means to be Canadian. Humble and proud.
The Canadian federal government made a concerted effort to take us back 200 years to remind us of the war of 1812, stating that is also cause for celebration. It is interesting to note that the earth has been here for so much longer than the time we occupied and named the wonderful country we live in.
Before the lights go down across this fine country and the fireworks hit the sky, I bid all Canadians a happy Canada Day!
Until Next Time – STAY lean!
